where dedicated, professional staff seek to pamper and please you. World class comfort, style, food and rare vintage wines stroke the senses.
Exclusive accommodation is for the discerning traveller and our attention to detail is unsurpassed. Discover why the finest
private game reserve in Africa has earned worldwide renown as the ultimate wildlife
safari.
Ebony Lodge languishes in a cool silence in the shade of jackalberry trees on the bank of the Sand River, in the heart of the Sabi Sands Reserve. Ebony is man's love affair with Africa, timeworn colonial furniture and ethnic craft merge with vibrant hand-woven fabrics and relics collected from the land - a tribute to nature's eternal struggle.
The suites at Ebony are places of quiet contemplation, where the silence and solitude is measured only by the harmony of the forest and plains beyond. Ebony is the epitome of the luxury safari experience, combining quality and simple refinement to define the wonder of the wild.
Boulders Lodge towers over the landscape, a monolith of curving thatch and piled stone that joins seamlessly with the rocky geometry that holds it to the earth. Senufo artifacts and bold sculpture offset smooth linen in blue and silent white, as cascading water cools the summer air.
Boulders rests on the banks of the Sand River in the heart of the Singita Private Game Reserve, unlocking the senses to views that stretch to the edges of the imagination.
Boulder's suites feature magnificent stone bathrooms and bedrooms that encapsulate in luxury. Quiet, simple and luxurious, moments spent on the vast sundecks will leave you at the mercy of the breathtaking wild distance.
Activities at Singita:
Singita offers wonderful opportunities for big five sightings. The reserve is on the
migration routes of many prey species, and sightings of lion, leopard and even the
elusive Cape Hunting dog are common. Time spent at Singita is time spent at the very
heart of the African wilderness, in a place that grew out of the bushveld.
While we offer game drives and walks, and the finest big five game viewing in Southern
Africa, Singita is distinguished by the wide range of activities our guests are free to
enjoy at the lodges. Clay pigeon shooting is available on request, or guests may try
some fly-fishing in the seasonal rivers. You may ask your ranger to requisition a private
Land Rover, or you may choose to join one of the daily drives or group walks.
Bush breakfasts and sunset cocktails may be arranged for you in some of the most
scenic spots in the reserve or you may dine on the privacy of your deck.
A guided visit to Justitia Village, just outside the boundary of the reserve, will provide you with fascinating insights into the life of the local Shangaan community. In the
reserve, highly trained and experienced rangers and trackers will introduce you to an
Africa few have been privileged to see, while the lodge staff, headed up by internationally trained management and a highly sought-after executive chef will ensure that your stay is not simply pleasant but truly memorable.
Facilities at Singita:
In Singita's African Trading Store, you will find abundant evidence of Africa's rich
traditions of art and craftsmanship. Here the most comprehensive collection of
original merchandise imaginable has been assembled: jewellery crafted by hand from Africa's precious metals and gems; sculpture for the discerning investor; elegant
fashion inspired by the beauty of the bush and quality outdoor gear; African music;
limited edition photographic prints; home wear. All of this you may take in, over a
cappuccino, in a store with a view to the distant African horizon. Your time at Singita is
your own.

Day 2 and 3
Daily Singita Lodge activities. A typical day at Singita is as follows:
05h30:
After senses are awakened by the sounds of the bushveld, guests congregate with the rangers at the main lodge for tea, coffee and light snacks in anticipation of the early morning game
06h15:
As the early morning sun rises over the horizon, rangers and trackers head out with
guests into the African bushveld. One can sense the excitement… who knows what to
expect? A herd of ever-cautious impala huddled together, a leopard in the branches of
a knobthorn tree with a kill from the last hours of darkness, a herd of elephant feeding in
the lush vegetation or a pride of lion in the shade of an acacia. The sound of creatures
awakening to a new day stirs your passion for Africa and its many wonders.
08h30:
The fresh aromas of Singita's signature breakfast entice guests back to the lodge.
Overlooking the African plains from the main deck, a spectacular breakfast follows your
return from the morning game drive, with a buffet of seasonal fruits, cereals, yoghurts
and fruit juice, followed by a delectable hot breakfast.
10h00:
At your leisure - whether an indulgent massage or beauty treatment at the spa, relaxing under an African sun on your sundeck, a workout at the gym or some
superb shopping at the trading store.
13h00:
Lunch at Singita - after spending the morning at leisure, Singita's talented chefs prepare a medley of culinary delights, inspired by African flavours yet guided by
western cooking tradition.
16h00:
As the endless African day starts to cool and the shadows are forming across the plains, guests enjoy afternoon refreshments, which are served in the main lodge before the evening game drive.
16h30:
A vivid sunset sky forms the backdrop of an unforgettable wildlife experience. As darkness approaches, the animals become more active, rarely seen nocturnal creatures emerge and incredible interactions are the order of the day.
Have drinks and conversation as the sun disappears at one of the many vantage points
hidden in the bush.
The lions stir from their slumber to begin the night's hunt and the leopard slinks through the long grass in the twilight. The evening drive is the apex of the African adventure, moments that will define forever your memories of Africa.
20h00:
One by one, the drivers return to the lodge, the fires are lit and the night's entertainment begins. Return to the lodge for dinner around the fire in the Boma
under a starlit sky, or a gourmet meal by candlelight in the dining room. A fusion of venison dishes, fresh fish from the South African coast, pastas, soups and vegetables, dinner at Singita is a sumptuous affair, where you will be enchanted by the rhythm and harmony of a local choir. Retire to your suite for a restful nights sleep in preparation for the next exciting day.
Day 4
After the last morning’s game drive, enjoy a breakfast at the lodge and depart by road
towards Johannesburg. Lunch on route. Arrive in Johannesburg in the mid to late
